Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake challenged nendo to create something with the byproduct from the textile manufacturing process of creating pleats in clothing; the resulting Cabbage chair repurposes that waste material. Sato peels away the individual layers of small, soft sheets until a charming seating surface is revealed.
