In 1927, a pivotal moment arrived when Capogrossi traveled to Paris alongside his contemporary, Fausto Pirandello. His work transitioned into a profound abstraction, often defined by his iconic, repetitive sigla—a unique, calligraphic mark that became his artistic signature.
