William Cordova is a contemporary cultural practitioner and interdisciplinary artist born in 1969 in Pueblo Libre (Lima), Peru. His work navigates themes of identity, memory, and social justice through a diverse range of media.

He received a B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1996, laying the foundation for his future explorations. Furthering his education, he earned an M.F.A. from Yale University in 2004, solidifying his commitment to artistic innovation and critical inquiry.
