• Early Life & Education: Aisha Cahn was born in Mumbai, India, in 1959. She pursued her education diligently, earning an O Level and two A Levels before enrolling at London College of Fashion (1977-1980), where she gained SIAD & College Certificates in Fashion Design.
• Fashion Career: Following her studies, Cahn embarked on a successful fashion career as Assistant Fashion Designer for Charnos Design Studio (1980-1981) and Freelance Fashion Designer (1981-1982). She later founded House of Aisha Boutiques (1982-1988), showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit.
• Teaching & Academia: Cahn continued her passion for education by lecturing in Fashion Design at London College of Fashion (1983-1987) and serving as Chair of the UAL Development Council (2012 – 2015).
• Professional Achievements: Her career extended into Human Resources roles, culminating in Procurement Director for Alexander Mann Associates (1988 – 2000). She pursued further artistic development through BTEC Diploma in Fine Art & HNC in Fine Art and Central St Martins School of Art, earning an MA Degree in Fine Art.
